lovely pool

I stayed here late September as a single parent with my young son. Generally we really enjoyed it. The staff were very friendly and welcoming indeed - at reception both ladies were nice and helpful, and the restaurant staff were great. We loved the pool area - the swimming pool is a decent size with deep and shallow areas as well as a toddler pool. The food on offer was pretty good, both breakfasts and evening meals. The evening meal buffet usually offered something typically Greek as well as other main meals that were more broadly Mediterannean. The only downside of the restaurant I thought was that no natural light came in, so it could in no way be compared to eating in at a taverna for example! The rooms were not bad but not wonderful - I had booked a family room even though there were only two of us for the sake of extra space, but the room we got was only about a foot and a half longer than a normal room, and that meant losing valuable balcony space. Also it had a kind of partition which made most of the room very dark. I would therefore recommend not upgrading to a family room if there are just three of you - the extra expense just isn't worth it. On balance though, the hotel facilities, food, pool and proximity to village and beach made up for the slightly disappointing room.
